This compelling narrative, penned by seasoned writer and actress Alicia Heyward, and all music composed by NYC public school educator and entertainment veteran Damen Heyward, draws from first hand experiences with students impacted by gun violence, gang culture, incarceration, and substance abuse. The plot centers on a responsible young man who is torn between loyalty to his friends in a violent gang and his growing love for girl who represents hope for tomorrow.
